The coach app is free. The client app is $4.99 a month after a two-week free trial. Whatever you charge your clients is yours — MyFitsy never takes a cut of your coaching income, because it never touches it.

MyFitsy Coach — free

Everything, at no cost: unlimited clients, unlimited programmes, groups, the calendar, chat, measurements and your public coach page. There is no trial to expire and no tier to upgrade to.

We charge the client rather than the coach on purpose. A coach is the reason their clients are here at all — charging you for bringing them would be taxing the person doing the work.

Two weeks free, then $4.99 a month. Cancel any time, including during the trial.

That covers your training on both sides: the programmes your coach writes, the ones you write yourself, workout logging, measurements and progress charts, goals, and chat with your coach.

What it costs where you live

$4.99 is the United States price. Everywhere else the price is set to the local equivalent in local currency, and in countries with VAT or GST that tax is included in the figure you see — so the exact number varies from country to country and moves a little as exchange rates do. The App Store and Google Play always show your own price, in your own currency, before you confirm anything. That price is the one that counts.

How billing works

Apple and Google handle the money

Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play, using whichever payment methods they already offer you. MyFitsy never sees or stores your card.

The trial starts when you subscribe. It runs for two weeks and then renews automatically at the monthly price unless you cancel before it ends. Cancelling is done in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, not here — which also means it keeps working if you ever delete the app.

What you pay your coach is separate

The subscription pays for the app. What you pay your coach is a matter between you and them, and MyFitsy is not involved in it: there is no checkout, no card handling and no payout inside the app, and no commission on a single euro of it. Coaches list their rates on their public page so you can see them before you get in touch, and then settle it however you both already prefer.

Billing questions

Is the coach app really free?

Yes — all of it, with no client limit and no trial to expire. Only the client app is paid.

Do I need a card for the free trial?

The App Store or Google Play will attach your usual payment method when you start the trial, but nothing is charged until the two weeks are up. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

Why is my price not exactly $4.99?

Prices are set per country in local currency, and where VAT or GST applies it is included in the price shown. Your store shows your exact price before you confirm.

How do I cancel?

In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep access until the period you have paid for runs out.

What happens when my subscription ends?

Your account and your history stay. You keep access to your own data and can export it on request; the training features need an active subscription.

Do you take a percentage of what a coach charges?

No. Not a percentage, not a fee, not a payout margin — MyFitsy never handles that money at all.

Can a coach pay for their clients?

Not today. Each client subscribes themselves through their own app store account.
