Coaching that actually
fits your week
MyFitsy puts the world's trainers in one search — and everything after in one app. Programmes, weights, measurements and sessions, finally in the same place as the person writing them. Free for coaches. Two weeks free for everyone else.

Why MyFitsy exists
Most coaching still runs on a spreadsheet, a chat thread and a calendar app that know nothing about each other.
A coach writes a programme in a spreadsheet, sends it as a PDF, agrees session times over chat, and asks for measurements every few weeks. The client logs their weights in a notes app, forgets what they lifted last time, and loses the PDF.
None of that is anybody's fault. It happens because the tools were never designed to be shared between two people with different jobs to do. The coach needs to plan and schedule; the client needs to show up and execute.
MyFitsy splits the product in two and joins the data underneath. The coach app is a planning tool. The client app is an execution tool. What one writes, the other sees — immediately, without a PDF, an export, or a reminder to check the spreadsheet.
| The usual setup | What goes wrong |
|---|---|
| Spreadsheet + PDF | Out of date the moment it is edited. No history of what was actually lifted. |
| Chat thread | Session times get buried. No structure, no reminders, no record. |
| Generic tracker app | Built for solo lifters. The coach cannot see anything. |
| Separate calendar | Knows nothing about the programme or the client. |
| Notes app for measurements | No charts, no trend, no context. |
How MyFitsy solves it
One source of truth
The programme, the sessions and the measurements are the same records on both sides. There is no version to keep in sync and nothing to re-send.
Consent in both directions
A coaching connection needs both people to agree, and either can end it. A coach cannot attach themselves to a client, and a client is never enrolled by surprise.
Two apps, two jobs
Clients get a focused app that answers "what am I doing today". Coaches get a planning tool with clients, groups, programmes and a calendar.
The client app
Open it and you know what to do
The Today screen shows the workout that is next in your programme — not a library to browse, one specific session. It knows which day you are on because it counts the ones you have finished, so missing a week does not desynchronise anything.
- Today's session, the exercises in it, and the sets and reps your coach set
- The weight you used last time, pre-filled, so you know what to beat
- Upcoming sessions your coach has booked with you
- Body measurements, charts and goals
- A calendar of everything you have done and everything that is coming

Clients & groups
Plan the week, not the paperwork
MyFitsy Coach is where the work happens: build a programme once, assign it to as many clients as you like, then run your week from a calendar that understands who you are training and when.
- Clients, with their active programmes and history
- Groups — book one session for everyone, or push a programme in bulk
- A day-grid calendar with one-off and weekly repeating sessions
- Double-booking detection before you confirm
- Direct messaging, and each client's logged workouts and measurements
Nobody starts from scratch twice
The part that only works if the training and the relationship live in the same place.
You keep every coach you have trained under
Open the app a year later and your training history is still there: who coached you, when, and every session you did with them. Not a vague memory of “that guy at the gym in 2024” — a name, a face, and the actual work.
Your old clients are a list, not a memory
Every client who has ever trained with you stays under an Ended filter in your Clients tab, with everything you did together intact. One tap sends them a come-back reminder.
How a week actually runs
From booking a session to seeing the result.
- 1
The coach books the week
Open the calendar, tap an empty slot, pick a client or a group, set a duration and add a note like "deadlift technique". Repeat weekly if it is a standing slot.
- 2
The client sees it immediately
The session appears on their Today screen and in their calendar, with the note. If the coach moves or cancels it, they are notified.
- 3
The coach assigns a programme
Pick a programme and a start day. Assigning does not cancel anything the client is already running — a programme ends only when the coach ends it.
- 4
The client trains
Today shows the session, the exercises, the target sets and reps, and the weight they used last time. They log what they actually lifted and finish the workout.
- 5
The record updates on both sides
The completed workout appears in the client's calendar as a finished session and in the coach's view of that client, with the weights that were used.
- 6
Progress becomes visible
Measurements logged over weeks turn into charts and a body view. Goals track against a target and a deadline.

What this replaces, on both sides
The usual arrangement has the coach paying a platform every month and the client paying an app on top. MyFitsy comes in under both.
If you coach
Every serious coaching platform bills you monthly, and the bill grows as your client list does — which is a strange way to charge someone for getting better at their job. MyFitsy does not charge the coach anything, at any client count.
| Platform | What the coach pays every month |
|---|---|
| MyFitsy | Nothing |
| TrueCoach — Standard, up to 20 clients | $57.99 |
| PT Distinction — Pro, up to 25 clients | $59.90 |
| ABC Trainerize — Pro, from 5 clients | from $23 |
| Everfit — Pro, from 5 clients | from $19 |
For a coach with twenty clients that is roughly $700 a year that stops leaving your account. There is no listing fee on top, and no commission — MyFitsy does not handle the money between you and your clients at all, so what you charge is what you keep.
If you train
The client app stands on its own — write your own programmes, log your sessions, track your measurements, with no coach involved. So the fair question is what you would otherwise pay for an app that does that. MyFitsy is a third of the price of the best known ones, and it is the only one on the list where the money also gets you a person.
| App | Every month | Per year |
|---|---|---|
| MyFitsy | $4.99 | $59.88 |
| Fitbod | $15.99 | $95.99 |
| JEFIT Elite | $12.99 | $69.99 |
| Most other workout trackers | roughly $5 – $16 | varies |
And those apps stop at logging. Here is what the same $4.99 buys:
- Your own programmes — up to ten, weights, bodyweight and cardio, with a pull-up and a 5 km run treated as properly as a bench press
- Fifteen measurements, not one number — weight, a body-fat estimate and thirteen circumference sites on a body diagram
- A rate of change, not just a squiggly line. “0.4 kg a week” tells you how long this will take; an average tells you nothing
- Every session you have ever done, by date, exactly as you logged it
- Metric or imperial, switched in one tap
- A search across every coach on the platform, filterable by any of 196 countries, with reviews only real clients could leave
- And then the coach themselves — a plan written for your numbers, sessions in your calendar, and messaging with photo and video for form checks
That is the whole argument in one line. Coaching platforms are tools you drag your existing clients into. Tracking apps leave you on your own with a graph. MyFitsy is the only place where the coach and the client find each other — and it costs the coach nothing and the client less than either.
Competitor figures are published list prices as at August 2026, taken from each company's own pricing page — coaching platforms at the tier nearest a twenty-client coach, plans that scale per client shown as “from”. Prices change; check theirs before deciding.
